| The Cowboy Division is also
known as Colorado River Shootists and is a SASS affiliated club and
shoots
on the 4th Sunday of each month. Please check the calendar for exact time,
as it changes
with the seasons. At a regular monthly match there are
generally 6 stages (4 in the summer). Some
months there is a shoot – off
after the main match.
This division sponsors a two day annual match--the
Yuma Territorial Prison Breakout--on Martin Luther King weekend in January. This match is limited
to 220 shooters and is known for its fun and easy stages and relaxed
atmosphere. Featured is the “Stage from Hell”, the jail wagon and the
Saturday campfire.
New shooters, spectators and vendors are welcome. Please make
sure you have eye and ear protection.
